The National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR) organized an introductory lecture titled "Get to Know the Child Rights Commissioner" at the training center located at the institution’s headquarters. The lecture was delivered by Dr. Hooreya Aldairi, the Child Rights Commissioner, who discussed the commissioner's role and responsibilities.
During the lecture, Dr. Aldairi highlighted key achievements in the field, noting efforts made to promote human rights and protect children’s rights. She emphasized the important role of the commissioner in this area, working continuously to raise awareness and enhance the legal and institutional capacities to protect children in various circumstances.
Dr. Aldairi also introduced the "Friends of the Child Rights Commissioner" team, an initiative aimed at encouraging participants to join the team and actively support children’s rights in society. She stressed the importance of collaboration among various stakeholders to ensure a safe and supportive environment for children’s growth and prosperity.
